Congrats to our advisor, Chris Kowalczyk, for his success at The Europas!

Movie discovery service Filmaster was one of the few startups featured in The Europas competition in “social networking platform” category. We did not win — huge congrats to PeerIndex here! — but we achieved another small success. Chris Kowalczyk, our business advisor, won the “Highly Commended” award as “Best VC Partner of the Year”. Huge applause for that!

As Mike Butcher said, being featured in The Europas is a success on its own. It’s one of the key startup competitions in Europe and Filmaster was the only movie related startup on the list!
The award for Chris is spot on. If not for him, we would not be where we are now. We probably would not have launched at SXSW and got accepted into HackFwd (also with an “Highly Commended” award for Best European Startup Accelerator). Big thanks, Chris!
